Hey Guys…
This afternoon has been filled with lots and lots of cleaning. I cleaned Regan’s room. I cleaned our room. I cleaned the kitchen (again) and then I even cleaned myself. I realized that I hadn’t showered and couldn’t take it ANYMORE!! So I hopped in the shower while Linsey was watching a television show. Jason hadn’t made it back yet and Regan was still asleep so it was the perfect opportunity.
After my shower Linsey and I had lunch. She wanted a nutella and jelly sandwich with grapes and I had the bright idea to try my first Amazing Grass smoothie. I take an Amazing Grass Wheat Grass Tablet every morning, but have never tried the Amazing Meal before.
I bought a handful of the single packets at Whole Foods last weekend for Jason and I to try, but hadn’t managed to try them yet. So today was the day! I stole Jenna’s recipe for Amazing Grass Amazing Meal smoothies and fell in to smoothie heaven!!
Here’s what I did…
- 1 packet Amazing Grass chocolate infusion
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 scoop almond butter
- 1 1/4 c 1% milk
- a handful of fresh spinach
- 4 ice cubes
- 2 whole frozen strawberries
Then I blended it all together and viola…Amazing Grass smoothie dressed up in a beautiful glass!! Now…I know it doesn’t look all that appetizing, but trust me when I say it was YUMMY!!! I drank it to the head and loved it. It was tasty and filling. Such a great, quick lunch.
I’m still considering the Master Cleanse, but I want to read a little more about it first. I put on a pair of my favorite jeans the other day and they were a little more snug that the last time I wore them. I know this happens sometimes in the winter and I’m not running right now, but I’ve got a plan all planned out. I’ll let you know what it is tonight when I get the particulars all worked out, but it’s a 30 day plan that will start tomorrow.
I write and write and write and don’t really know if people are reading, but I write like millions are. So – to the “millions” who are reading get ready…I am going to ‘expose’ myself tonight. I hope you’re ready.
Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans. ~ Peter F. Drucker

I am ready!!!!
I keep trying to encourage people to drink green smoothies but they only see the color. I was able to convince my coworker to drink them and she loves them.
I like your recipe but I’d leave out the chocolate. I’m very picky about chocolate.
This is a great way to “eat” your veggies.
I thought about the master cleanse too but I need food! lol.
