Hey Everyone! How’s your Saturday?? Ours has been good, but flown by. I HATE THAT!!! I hate that the work week seems to drag by sometimes, but no matter what the weekends are over in a flash.
We’ve made the most of our Saturday night though. Jason and Linsey rented movies. We always get one family movie and then one movie for us to watch after the girls go to bed. Before turning on the family movie we made homemade pizzas. Here’s what we used…
- mini pizza doughs
- canned pizza sauce
- assorted cheeses
- sliced mushrooms
- chopped pineapple
- caramelized onions
- sundried tomatoes
- fresh basil
Jason’s pizza is on the left and mine is on the right. We already put the girls pizza’s in before I took the pic.
Here’s the finished product…
We made a caesar salad to go with the pizza because the girls wanted zero veggies on theirs – no surprise. But here’s what my pizza consisted of…
- 1 mini pizza dough
- 2 tbsp pizza sauce
- fresh sliced mozzarella cheese
- sliced mushrooms
- sun-dried tomatoes
- caramelized onions
- fresh pineapple
- 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella
- fresh basil
It was so good and just enough too. Normally when we order pizza I eat too much and feel yucky afterwards. We might be making homemade pizza more often now!!
We all piled on the couch to eat our dinner and watch the family movie. It was a cute movie called Shorts.
Linsey has been wanting to see this movie for a while now so tonight was the perfect time to rent it. We haven’t done pizza and movie night in so long. It’s usually something we do on Saturday nights in the winter because going out isn’t really an option. Tonight it’s pretty cold here so we were happy to stay in and watch movies.
The girls are heading to bed and Jason and I are getting ready to watch our movie…
I have a feeling this one’s going to be a good one!!!
G’Night…
