Go, Go, Go…I feel like some days that’s all I do! Trust me – I don’t really mind being busy, but some times I would like a little breather…ya know.
The morning started off late normal so I was in a hurry from the get go. Thankfully breakfast was in the fridge ready to go.
There really isn’t anything like a bowl of banana overnight oats with chocolate peanut butter in the morning.
After convincing Regan that it was time to go to school (and NOT eight ninety o’clock
) we were in the car and heading off. She was ready to play with her friends as soon as we walked in the door and after a quick hug, kiss and wave to me – I was a long forgotten memory to her.
I got over it pretty quickly and was off to work. Lots to do and not much time to do it…story of my life.
I snacked on a larabar throughout the morning.
Lunch was a GIANT salad with honey mustard dressing after we closed. I was pretty hungry by then so I loaded up on the veggies!
I also had a slice of pumpernickel rye garlic cheese bread. It was quite wonderful.
While we were cleaning up the deli it started to get cloudy, windy and then the thunder started to rumble. As I was driving home the rains came.
They continued long into dinner time with lightening and thunder too. You know what that meant…no exercise.
But Jason and I made use of the sudden extra hour we had at home.
NO PERVS (
) we cleaned house!! He vacuumed and put away his laundry while I put the girls laundry away and did dishes. I noticed we had quite a few bananas getting really ripe so I froze about 5 of them and then the itch to bake hit me. Let the rain fall down!
I pulled out my Passionate Vegetarian cookbook (I had been pretending it didn’t exist for awhile) and found just what I needed…
That turned into this…
It’s a masterpiece that I will enjoy feeding to my family!
While I was playing the vegan Martha Stewart Jason was putting his culinary skills to good use as well. A week ago or so I received these coupons in the mail.
The company offered them to me so that I might do a reviewof their product here on RealFitMama. I knew this would be easy as pie because this is a product we already use! Those coupons turned into this dinner…
Using a Bobolithin whole wheat pizza crust Jason made Regan and I grilled mushroom, caramelized onion and pineapple pizza. YUMMMMY!!!
I think Regan was overly tired (perhaps not enough napping at school) because she didn’t eat much dinner and cried off and on all night. She was complaining of a headache so I gave her some Motrin and kept her home from the Tuesday night meeting.
She hates me now!
Of course as a mother I hate to say I told you so (really I do) but I knew she was tired because this was her at 7:25.
And this is her at 7:58.
I rest my case.

Gonna try and do some blog catch up now that I do have a few free minutes. Nighty night! Let the rain fall down…maybe I’ll sleep extra deep because of it.

Nothing pervy about a little love making sister! Although, I probably wouldn’t blog that either. haha
@ Diana – I will pretty much blog about EVERYTHING in my life. I’m an open book, but there are a handful of things that are not for public display and that is DEFINITELY one of them.
cute post! love the bread and are you sure you were cleaning the house ?
@ Kalli – The bread was FIRE!!! And my husband will attest to the house cleaning (although he was non too pleased)
