weekend with one

I’ve been totally off the radar all weekend and I’m not going to lie…I’ve kinda liked it! We have been busy since waking up yesterday morning, but in a total good way.

Breakfast at Bread Co.

Errands at Target, the bank and Verizon store and then a snack.

We took Regan and enjoyed an afternoon at the pool! No pictures – just fun! After about 3 hours of sun, fun and water we came home so Regan could nap. She fell asleep during our walk home. And I had another snack.

This is my absolute new favorite flavor!! Time for house cleaning and showers and then friends over for dinner!

They made dessert.

The weather got wicked and then we went to bed. Sunday morning we skipped pancakes for something Regan requested AND helped me make. ;)

Jason went out and got us coffee!

Time to munch.

Regan took hers and made it exactly what she wanted!

What a girl wants?! ;)

Then she and I spent the next few hours cleaning, sorting, purging and vacuuming her bedroom and ALLLLLLLLL of her toys. And she fell asleep at 2:00 so I could do the same thing in Linsey’s room. If we’re moving in late August I need to start organizing and purging now! And then I needed lunch…

Dinner was going to be homemade pizza, but that’s going to wait until tomorrow. Might have a salad or a smoothie…who knows?!

But I do know that I have a really awesome giveaway for ya! Remember a while back when Linsey and I split the Good OnYa Bar that I was given to review? Well the company was so cool that they sent me TWO bars to give to one of you guys. So – all I want you to do is leave a comment telling me what your dream weekend would be and next Sunday (when Linsey is home) I’ll have her pick her favorite. Then I’ll mail you the bars. Sound good? GO!

Here’s something that’s a total throw back to my high school days!!

I wouldn’t say this is a dream weekend, but my favorite way to spend the weekend is playing at the beach all day until you are absolutely exhausted followed by a rainy day in watching movies and playing board games with my family all day.

First, I have to say I definitely agree with you. Today I stopped at Whole Foods before heading into the movie theatre to see Ramona and Beezus with my darling daughter and I picked up a few Larabars. I was really looking for their new flavors like choc chip cookie dough, but not such luck. But I did pick up a coconut cream pie flavor and mmmmmmmmmmmm, boy it was de-lish!!! LOVE it and will be making a trip back there this week since it is the only place I have even seen this flavor!
Second, my dream weekend… well that would HAVE to be in Disney World with my daughter Sarah. Yes, I know that it takes more than a weekend to experience it all. But to pack it all in from morning to night would be an absolutely fabulous experience. She has been to Disney twice, once when she was 3 and once when she was 5 and now at 13, we both are still Princess fans. I still have the “Cinderella Dream” and will not give up hope on that, my Prince will once day come! And I have the same dream for my daughter. There is no other place on earth to spend a weekend than in Disney World! So there it is… my dream weekend. Though I am hoping to move to Florida in the future and that would then turn into every weekend of a dream weekend, but for now…. it is just my “dream weekend”.
