Well peeps – today is December 1st and for those of us that celebrate Christmas it means that lists are being made, lights are being hung and trees are being decorated.
Jason and I will be shopping for the girls gifts later next week, but until then I figured I would give you some hints on what to buy the foodie/health nut in your life (or me if you want!)
This blog post was originally going to be titled “What to buy the Foodie/Health Nut in your life” or “Jason, these are some of the things I want this year”, but I figured “Tis the season” was a little bit better.
Every year Jason says he has no idea what to get me or what he does get me I never wear or I want to take back or pretend I like and then he never sees it again. Well this year I decided to help him out by helping all of my readers out.
There are quite a few awesome products in my OpenSky Shop and some of the things on my list come straight from there. Easy right!?
1) I am a nut butter girl, but my heart belongs to NuttZo. It is an amazing vegan butter made with nuts, seeds and legumes. It has great earthy flavor and a wonderful crunchy texture. YUM!
2) Of course I can’t live without my chocolate peanut butter. It’s the perfect mix in for my chocolate cherry overnight oats. Nutty’s chocolate lover’s pack makes me very happy.
3) I have been DYING to try the Kodiak Cakes pancake mix, but just haven’t gone ahead and ordered any for myself. The Kodiak Cakes sample pack would be the perfect introduction!
4) I love baking and one of my favorite things to bake is banana bread, pumpkin bread or any kind of bread really, but my loaf pans SUCK. They are old, the bread sticks to them and tears when trying to remove it. Having new loaf pans would make bread making so much easier.
5) As a runner (or someone who’s really trying to be one) an item that helps me keep track of routes, heart rate, miles traveled and mile times would help me tremendously. Sadly I don’t have anything like that in my possession, but a Garmin Forerunner would do the trick!
6) My iPod is so outdated and doesn’t always work right. It can’t hold a charge and sometimes songs won’t play. I’ve used it for almost six years now and would LOVE an upgrade. The iPod touch 4G looks really awesome to have with me on runs!
7) I have been dying for a pair of the “sweater boots” and I found a pair that are so comfortable, affordable and animal friendly (you all know how important that is to me) right at my local Old Navy store. The adoraboots are perfect in gray and go with ANYTHING!
8 ) The perfect jeans (for me) are right here Jason! Size 4 please…
9) It’s so cold here right now and getting colder everyday. I am a self admitted baby when it comes to the cold so working out outside isn’t happening again until March. Just sayin! My collection of workout DVD’s is a little blah. Something new in the stack wouldn’t hurt a bit. I’ve been wanting to try the Body by Bethenny DVD cause I heart Bethenny Frankel. Don’t judge!
10) Last but not least because I love taking pictures of Linsey, Regan, Jason, places we go and of course food a new point and shoot would be something amazing to have. I’m not looking for something that costs a fortune or has interchangeable lenses (that would be nice but not realistic for our budget) I found one that looks like it would work perfectly for me. The Canon PowerShot seems like the best value for the price.
So there you have it!
That’s my Top 10 list of what to buy the Foodie/Health Nut in your life (or me if your name is Jason)!
Happy Shopping…
