Fridays are often interesting around here!
…books in bed
…pizza and movies
…games of twister
…girls night on the couch
…the occasional trip to the Touhill
But tonight … Tonight is something different. Tonight it’s all about chili. Lots of chili. Different kinds of chili. Chili made by boy scouts. Chili made by cub scouts. Chili made by mothers hoping to bond with their sons and daughters. And tonight I’ll be eating chili from little styrofoam bowls and using plastic spoons and laughing with people who are fun to be around and make me happy and make me smile and who actually return emails and phone calls and text messages.
People who know that I’m crazy. Not in a bad way, but in the “you are so crazy I almost peed my pants” kind of way. People who accept me – hang ups and all.
So here’s to eating chili in tiny styrofoam bowls…

…people who make vegetarian chili just so I for sure have something to eat
…people who give up their Friday night to hang out and eat chili
