Do you remember when I talked about Regan’s absolute favorite teacher??

Well… Regan’s absolute favorite teacher, Ms Matti, is leaving us. Tomorrow is her last day teaching at Regan’s school. This is especially hard for us to handle because not only is she leaving the school – she’s leaving the state. Saturday morning she will be getting up, getting in her car and driving to Connecticut where she will be teaching at another school.

Today was her party with the students – past and present.

There were tears.

There were hugs.

And there was cake.

Mostly there were tears and hugs…

It’s so hard to say good-bye…

Today I’m thankful for:

…having such an amazing teacher in Regan’s life

…knowing that other children will have her in their lives

…the love that she and Regan share for each other

…Mattie being such a great friend in my life

…my iPhone and it’s face-time abilities
