sunday rain day
If you haven’t noticed over the past few months my postings have been sporadic at best. Life is hectic, kids are crazy and our schedule is go, go, go all the time. I need some blogging structure or else it’s just not going to work for me.
So my schedule for blogging is going to (hopefully) look something like this…
Monday — fitness post for the upcoming week
Wednesday — W.I.A.W post and maybe a new recipe
Thursday — random post about whatever I feel like talking about
Sunday — a motivational post of some kind
I hope this schedule works out for a few months now that I know how the days are going this school year. I don’t foresee any major schedules changes for a while so keeping this one up should be easy to do.

It’s no secret that I struggle with body image. I have my entire life and no matter how “fit” I get it never seems to be good enough. I’m always focusing on the parts that still need work rather than the parts that look fantastic. It’s a vicious circle that I’ve struggled with my whole life.
So today I’m changing my focus.
Today I’m going to find the parts that I really like.
The three parts of my body that I like are…
- My back.
I love the curve it has and the two tattoos that are on my shoulder blades.
- My arms.
They may be string beans, but they are strong. My tiny biceps are still able to lift heavy things and rearranging furniture is one of my most favorite things to do.
- My feet.
Now don’t laugh, but I have the cutest feet! They’re long, thin and my toes are lined up perfectly. Plus — I have a toe ring on my left foot that I’ve been wearing since the 7th grade and it still looks cool!
